Brick and earth looks without a masonry crew
Adobe brick and rammed-earth looks can be specified as mineral sheets. You get the earth face without a masonry crew β lock colour bands and fire class to the current data sheet.
In brief
- Adobe brick look is a mineral sheet with coarse joints, not a laid brick wall.
- Rammed earth is a separate look with mineral colour bands β sample them, they are not paint.
- Hospitality and villa walls can take the earth face without a rammed-earth crew on site.

Earth walls are slow when they are honest: bricklayers, rammed-earth crews, weather windows. Many hospitality and villa drawings want the face, not the crew. A mineral flexible stone sheet can carry an adobe-brick joint or a rammed-earth banding as cladding. That is a specification choice, not a shortcut to hide.
Adobe brick is a skin with joints already in the face
The adobe brick look is a coarse, lime-white block pattern in the mineral. The joints are modelled, not grouted on site as masonry. That is why the sheet can overlay a board or a sound render. It will not replace a structural brick wall, and it should not be specified as one.
Rammed earth is colour in the mineral
Rammed Earth reads as horizontal courses. The bands are mineral, not a painted stripe. Sample them. Adjacent sheets must come from a mill-run that can be blended, or the wall will show as a collage of different earths. That is a procurement fact, not a styling tip.
Hemp Weave sits nearby on the board as a textile-earth relief. Use it where the wall should be quieter than brick and less geological than rammed earth. Still a mineral sheet; still locked to the current data sheet.
Ask for mill-run samples of Adobe Brick and Rammed Earth, name the substrate, and do not copy a rammed-earth specification clause onto a cladding sheet. Start on the look board if the name is not yet chosen.
