What was specified

Why not slab stone?
A spiral stair void and double-height shop walls cannot accept a conventional stone build-up without loading the frame and slowing a retail programme. The sheet follows the curve, overlays the existing structure, and keeps the grout grid from turning the maison into a tiled box.
What to request
Ask for travertine-look samples from the current board, plus a curve-lining detail. Specifications are confirmed on the data sheet for the chosen series.
